I replaced my OG BBQ guru internal temp wire with the Flame Boss. Not happy. It only reads 115 F despite the actual temp being 150+ degrees. The wire is quite thin compared to the bbq guru version. Do not recommend.

These are a lot shorter probes than the flame boss probes I'm used to. Yep... That's all! Besides that, they work great and the size makes no difference.
