Definitely plastic and not made of wax. I didnโt care. I put these in vases that have holes so I wanted them to glow within and I didnโt want a real candle. Great candle glow. Also the timer is fantastic. It turns on daily and off. It uses normal batteries so this was a fantastic find! No more opening the ginger jars to turn on and off!!

Great product at a value price! These candles look really nice and work great. They come with a remote control with different timer settings as well as either the candle flicker mode or constant on modes. You canโt beat the price for these 3 candles varying in sizes. Absolutely thrilled with these frameless candles and definitely recommend.

First let me say what I like...it's bright. What I don't like is it doesn't change brightness, so the remote doesn't work for that and the other thing is the bottom is super hard to open. It's so tight once I put the batteries in and pushed the cover on I couldn't remove it. It took forever for me to get that dang cover off. Once I did I put Vaseline around it hoping I can remove it easier when I need to change batteries...fingers X

The remote control, battery run candles take 4 AA batteries each that have lasted over two months for me programing the candles to come on for four hours a day in the evening. It adds visual warmth to the area with out the fear of fire or wax dripping. The flickering "flame" lights make things feel believable and easy to enjoy. The remote will work from across the room with ease. The remote has a disk battery that has lasted for the six months I've had this set of three. They are finished on the outside to look like actual wax candles which adds to the belief that these are real candles and not just a hobby replacement. I've given them as gifts to three of my friends and plan on giving more around Christmas. Everyone loves them.

We love this remote control candle. I go to bed earlier than my husband, so he can come in and swith the candle on to see and not wake me with bright lights. It has a nice dim light. Since it is waterproof, we plan on bringing it outside to use when we use our firepit.

The candles look very realistic! They have a battery compartment that is secure. The instructions are simple and straightforward as is the remote control! Did I tell you it has a remote? Thatโs a bonus and a convenience!The candles are cool to the touch led bulbs.The candles were purchased to put inside of some very large filigree candle holders I purchased. I needed larger sized candles and these were perfect and are built well.Please forgive me for not replacing one of the batteries before taking the photos.They work and function flawlessly!Order yours today. The holidays are approaching and they would be beautiful in a table scape! I highly recommend these!
