The device keeps falling off... it is so small, that its unstable. I guess you pay for what you get... I will return it and get a real one, even if I have to pay much more.

I'll give this the benefit of doubt for other guitars, but it definitely doesn't work on my Yamaha CG122 cedar top classical guitar. Falls off in less than a minute. (Yes, I used the tightening bar on the side -- Save your obnoxious Trolling.) I'm guessing you need a high gloss lacquered guitar for the suction cup to work. It's designed for classical guitars, but many classical guitars don't have high gloss finishes.

Junk, does not stay on guitar. GO go Strings by Mail and buy a good support. Cheap is as cheap does. You get what you pay for. Again...JUNK.

The suction cup doesn't hold, even on a polished surface.When used on the leg, the guitar is held at a useless angle.
