SPECIAL DESIGN:
There is a one-way valve design inside the flashback arrestor, which enables gas to realize the single flow direction. It doesn’t generate any reflux so that any accidents won’t happen.
DURABLE IN USE:
The flashback arrestor is of sturdiness and durability because of its fine cooper material. The maximum bearing pressure of oxygen check valve and acetylene check valve respectively is 20bar/290PSI and 1.5bar/21PSI.
AIR INLET & AIR OUTLET:
The air inlet and air outlet’s thread specification is 9-16-18 B size. Please pay attention that the end of air inlet linked with flashback arrestor is reducing valve.

You can tell some less expensive comparable flashback arrestors don’t have a great finish and the threads are not smooth. The manufacturer put the extra effort that’s really not necessary into finishing the exterior, joints and threads. I don’t see why they would do anything less with the actual safety mechanism internally.

While this product is good quality, it is at to offer the wrong set for your purpose (as I did). This set is for the REGULATOR end of the hose - standard style in Europe. In the US we typically us the ones for the VALVE or TORCH end of the hose. If you put either set on the wrong end, the arresters will do their job and not let the gas flow through them. If you order the wrong ones you can either return them and get the right ones, or just switch them to the other end of the hose and go along your merry way. ;)

Acetylene can detonate. Given the cost of a new kit, and how much medical care costs, these are cheap insurance.They can save you a lot of pain and money if they ever are needed.

I could not get any gas flow at all through the acetylene arrestor. The oxygen arrestor seemed to work ok, but I returned both and will try a higher quality device.

Why is this old saying so true . . you get what you pay!!you have to buy 2 or 3 sets like I did to get a good non leaking blow back valve on this flashback arrestors in particular on the acetylene ones!!!😡
