This is definitely an easy to use bright flashlight, but, It doesn't have a long battery life between charges. It's very lightweight and has a sleek nice design and you can make the beam very large but not for very long. Also, the build quality isn't as great as I was hoping. It felt flimsy and came apart on me a couple times. The beam is definitely easy to adjust and has many use options, but if you're looking for something durable with a long life, this might not be your best choice.

These are great flashlights. They are so extremely bright and you can adjust them as you need to. They are easy to use and easy to carry with you wherever you go. I dare say they are the best flashlights we have ever had.

Only been using them for a month now, but they are very bright and battery seems to last a long . We only use them when walking the dog at night.

These flashlights are Wonderful! Our dog goes crazy when she hears noises in the woods so I head to the door and shine one of these adjustable flashlights out into the woods. I don't even have to leave the doorway as it is SO Bright!! Love the Brightness!!! I tell Gracie what a 'Good dog!' she is and she quiets down. I like that these come with the rechargeable cord although I haven't had to do that yet. Love that these come as a 2-pack!!

These flashlights are nice and bright, will fit into a jacket pocket. I walk my dogs at night and like a nice metal flashlight. It has three intensities, a flickering light that will send an epileptic into a fit, and an SOS flash. Hopefully I never need the SOS! I like the fact that I can recharge the batteries or use alkaline. The Duracell flashlights that I bought at the big box store go through batteries every week, so recharging these will definitely save me money. I will keep alkaline batteries on hand in my car for when I'm unable to use a charger. They seem a little expensive at first, but I think in the long run I will appreciate them! Oh yes, you can focus intensely on something or widen the range. Nice!

After investing in many similar flashlights, this (so far) is the best. It is sturdy and heavy but still fits in my coat pocket without straining it. I like the fact that it can either be re-charged or works on 3 AAA batteries. Thus, I am never without a charged flashlight when I dash out the door with my dog. And if one light is mislaid, there is an alternate. (As a rather absent-minded person, these safeguards are appreciated! ) The light is bright and can illuminate the total width of the road ahead. In fact, the lighting looks so similar to that cast by car headlights, that I need to remove the focus a couple of times from the center to signal that I am on the side of the road. The flashlight was already charged when delivered, so this was an added plus.

I was looking to replace my old-school MagLites and MagLight Mini's with something newer, much brighter, and maybe rechargeable. These were my first selection. There will be others.First, let's discuss the functional stuff. These lights are a decent size and a fair weight. Not teeny-tiny, and not huge and heavy like the old-school MagLite flashlights. Fully rechargeable, so there is no battery compartment to open. This means turning the bottom end (the end with the lanyard attached to it), while possibly fun, doesn't buy you anything. Turning the head doesn't do anything either. It does not focus or defocus the light beam. Only sliding the head changes the beam. The flashlight head cowl is definitely strong and looks like it could chip through ice or be used for other similar utility. I also very much appreciate that these flashlights are using standard USB-C charge ports and come with USB-C charge cables, so at least they are supporting a modern port standard. Kudos for that.To adjust the light, you slide the head (top end) away from the switch (like you are extending/telescoping the flashlight). It changes from a large circular area to what looks like a modern Windows 11 logo in monochrome. The light is most definitely bright. Very bright, in fact. To say that these flashlights go from "floodlight to spotlight" (as it does in the product description) is somewhat misleading. Still, the light does "focus" to some degree. Pressing the power switch does alternate between the five described modes: solid-on high (1), solid-on medium (2), solid-on low (3), strobe/blink (4), SOS (5), then it turns off (6). And, as expected, hold the power switch down a bit longer and no matter which mode you are in, the flashlight turns off. When receiving these flashlights, the first thing the instructions tell you to do is to charge them fully before using them. I have a 245W USB-C charging station which allows me to charge devices at their fastest speed. I left these flashlights to charge overnight. The next morning, they were both full (four LEDs indicating a full charge) while they were plugged in. The LEDs display full time when connected to a charging source. As soon as you disconnect the flashlights from the charging source, the LEDs go dark. Once disconnected, the LEDs will only light up when you turn the flashlights on. Within five minutes after disconnecting them and doing a quick on-off check, they already lost one LED (lost as in representing lost charge, not non-functional) without any use at all. Fortunately they charge to full relatively quickly. There are four blue LEDs to indicate charge on these lights. Since there are four LEDs, that means they each represent 25% of a charge, more or less. That means that the charge scale representation is 100%-76%/75%-51%/50%-26%/25%-1%. Since both flashlights lost 1 LED almost immediately, that means no use after full charge = ~25% battery discharge. This was pretty disappointing, but I wasn't going to give up on them yet. Being in the tech industry for decades, I understand rechargeable batteries very well. I understand that discharge is not uniform (x minutes to 75%, the same x minutes to 50%, etc.) and measuring and reporting battery load in a cheap consumer device is NOT a precise art form. I get it. Still, to lose a single LED within five minutes with zero use is beyond sad. That's poor design quality somewhere.I used one flashlight to help me wire up my new entertainment AV receiver and all the connected components. Multiple non-continuous uses (on for about a minute, off, wash-rinse-repeat). Total time with multiple on-off uses was less than 10 minutes. At the end of 10 minutes, I was at one LED. Another one and a half minutes (just because I wanted to test it) and it was completely discharged (to the point where it would not display a LED/turn on at all). Fortunately I had a second flashlight. Total time on that one was a similar 10+ minutes. So if you are planning to use these in the outdoors (again, as described on the product page: camping, hiking, home, emergencies), you better hope that none of those categories lasts you more than 10 minutes; 20 minutes if you brought both flashlights.I would recommend these flashlights for home or car (e.g. where did that thing go) use only, and again only for short bursts before requiring recharging. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend these flashlights for hiking (other than to the cooler and back) or other activities that tend to take more than 10 minutes each. One last note: the picture on the product page shows these as coming with car lighter chargers. That was NOT the case with my purchase. Doesn't matter, I won't miss them, I have handfuls of them already.I give these flashlights three stars. I'd give it 2.5 if I could, but I feel they do warrant more than 2 stars. The light produced by them is extremely bright and clear. It is just VERY SHORT LIVED. The physical design is good and comfortable to hold and use. But in general, for what you need a flashlight for, these are just not good extended-use solutions (unless that use is 10 minutes or less).
