Flashpoint Lowboy Stand

The Flashpoint Lowboy Steel Stand with low runway Rolling Base and Combo Head (3.8') is the heavy-duty, chrome-plated steel light stand that can do the heavy lifting on set and in the studio. It can hold up to 44 lbs. of equipment on it. It features three sections, two risers, and a maximum height of 3.8' giving photographers plenty of options. The low base gives it extra stability, with braking wheels that allow for easy movement and re-positioning. The Flashpoint Lowboy has a 1-1/8" Junior receiver and a retractable 5/8" pin that can be swung 90 degrees, allowing gear to be mounted on it vertically or horizontally. The stand accepts optional wheels that make movement easy without lowering your gear. Once in place, they lock down securely. Heavy-duty construction with steel risers allows you to support gear weighing up to 44 lbs. on the lowboy. The steel base features a folding design that's simple to set up. Knurled spring-loaded locks then secure the legs into an open or folded position. The stand also features a safety cable slot that ensures the security of your gear and the safety of those working around it.

Didn't need a tall stand so this one is sturdy enough for my needs. Highly recommend

If you're like me and spend a lot of time moving between different rooms and studios at home, you're going to love this.I started working exclusively from home about 2 years ago, and I decided to use my dining room as a home office, in addition to my office in front of the house. That's when I ran into a little problem because I wanted to improve my videography, and lighting, but without the challenge of moving the equipment and tripping over the tripod legs.Height and Mobility:First off, this stand gets up to the same height as a regular tripod, which is perfect when you're sitting in front of the camera. But here’s the kicker – it’s got wheels! Yep, 3... with brakes. I roll it around between offices downstairs effortlessly, and when I need it to stay put, I put the brakes on... but it currently doesn't move when it's stationary.Versatility:I can't tell you how much easier this makes life. Instead of fiddling with a tripod every time I switch rooms or angles, I just roll this guy along with me. Transition is MUCH BETTER. Plus, the brakes on each wheel give it the same rock-solid stability you'd expect from a traditional tripod.Sturdiness and Weight:Despite all these extras, I'd say it is a tad heavier than a regular tripod. And honestly, that tiny bit of extra weight is nothing compared to the benefits. What feels like steel construction is super solid, so I never worry about my gear toppling over. It's reliable, sturdy, and feels right. In short, this Lowboy Stand is my new best friend in the home office on the bottom floor. This is also the first time I bought an identical one within 1 week.If you need something that's mobile, sturdy, and versatile, I can't recommend it enough. I wouldn't travel with it, but the bottom legs do fold into alignment if I needed to just put it in my car...FYI: Easy to assemble, but you need a 19mm wrench to tighten down the wheels.Other than that, it’s made my work setup so much more efficient and stress-free; you won’t regret it!
