This is exactly what I needed. Perfect fit. Quick shipping. I would paid this price for a single size. The ability to adjust height is fantastic!

Wanted to write a review for any others with Winwing joysticks looking for an extension. Winwing has the same thread as Thrustmaster/Virpil, but the difference being the male/female ends are swapped for base and grip. So this straight extension is installed upside down compared to those joysticks (makes no difference visually here). Also I wasn’t sure if Winwing would be prone to slipping as they use a locking grub screw for their own couplers, but my joystick seems pretty rigid after installation. So overall happy with this extension, and has nice solid aluminum materials that fit well with the aesthetic.

The parts are well made and fit together perfectly.I use the longest extension on my Warthog and it’s amazing how much better the feel and control are.Great bit of kit…really adds to the realism of the sim.

Good looking, well made. Expensive for what it is, but only used on high end sim controllers, so a niche item.

Was hunting for a while looking for an extension for my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. After looking at a multitude of different options, this one seemed the best, and it delivered! Very easy to install, the multiple sizes allow you to adjust the stick to the height to your preference. They include a small hex wrench to tighten the extension heads and allows for you to adjust the angle as well! Also works well with MonsterTech mounts, and the stick height will NOT come in contact with the mount. If you’re looking for a stick extension, without spending a fortune, try this one!

"There is no set screw in the threaded caps to keep from unscrewing. The winwing joystick has flat spots on the threaded sections for this purpose."Doesnt work well with winwing

Only thing I do not like about this is that there is no way to secure it from unscrewing set screws hold ends in place on the pole sections but there is no set screw in the threaded caps to lock from unscrewing. The winwing joystick has flat spots on the threaded sections for this purpose. As a result sometimes when flying the throttle twists and unscrews a little causing some momentary issues.

This is a logical and natural improvement for the flight simmer, BUT...it is a pain to install if your seat is already in place (the mounting bolts should be horizontal instead of vertical), and the stick is about two or three inches (5-8cm) too far forward for my comfort. I use a 20cm Virpil stick extension for my Thrustmaster Warthog stick, which is kind of an S shape, but my stick base comes no closer than an inch and a half to my seat cushion, and I am forced to lean well forward to push the stick to its forward limits. It would be worse with a straight extension, and I am probably going to have to figure out a modified mounting plate that will put the stick closer to me.
