The PTO hub AM103498 is unavailable from Deere and was like 260$ online. I cut the end off since the splines are the same on the early John Deere PTO gearbox. You will have to have a lathe or a machine shop turn it to fit hub. The machine shop will need the gearbox to get the height of the hub the same. I was unable to find a suitable spline coupler to make one out of and this shaft is relatively the same price. I did use an O-ring on the end as it does not slide all the way down to the base as the original. You will not be able to get a conventional grease gun on the fitting after everything is said and done.
