The good news is that this unit was a great upgrade from my old RD218 and C120 MFD. The bad news is that this upgrade also required an upgrade to my MFD. The Quantum 2 is a MUCH better radome despite it's small size and beam width would suggest. The doppler feature is incredibly useful and I'm able to distinguish small objects in the water (buoy's, kayakers, etc.) Combine this with lower power consumption, it's a win!
