Wow, this thing is heavy duty? We have tried several other brands and have been using these types of toys for about 5 years now. This one is crazy heavy duty. I am not sure how any dog could break the stick on this thing. I love that it's telescoping and can shrink down for storage and it's the only one I have found that does that. I do have a few issues with it however. I don't think this works well for play inside unless the room you are in is huge with minimal obstacles. This thing goes far and is crazy strong and heavy. I folded the rope in half and strung it through that way to combat that issue. The toy is very heavy duty and heavy. That said, it's durable. My Irish Setter loves that it squeaks and crinkles. The replacement duck he likes to chew on the rope part. He is pretty gentle with his toys, so I imagine this one is going to last a long time. Since the toy is heavy though, it does not carry far without some gusto on your part (which is why this toy is better suited for outside play). I will likely switch out the toy for something lighter so that we can play with this one indoors more often. I wish they would make two different rope sizes for this toy or a way to adjust it. Also, some lighter weight replacement toys (like lambswool) would be great.

It's nice & sturdy. Really happy with that. I can't fault the quality. The issue is even though my dog is a large dog, she doesn't like to chase or play with this. She will chase or play with a much smaller cat chase toy. As nice as this is, it's not quite working for what I wanted. Maybe when the weather is nicer I'll try using it outside with her to see if that helps.

A really good strong useful outside toy especially good for older less mobile puppy owners! It helps wear the puppy out and not you !strongly recommend.

My dogs love it but it’s been less than a month and now the top level won’t collapse

The only thing I would say is the top extension doesn't stay locked. Other than that my dog loves it.

Lasted about 2 hours. Might work for small dogs. Don’t waste your money if you have a real dog.

Puppies Just love it. Easy for Grandkids to use = they thought it was a fishing pole. Puppies could play with them without them being affected by puppy teeth. It is still in tact and they still play with it.

The long pole and enticing lure make it easy to engage their prey drive, and they love chasing and catching the fluffy toy. It's a fantastic way to provide both physical and mental stimulation, and it's definitely helped to burn off some of their excess energy. The pole itself feels sturdy and well-made, and the lure is attached securely. I've used it in the park and garden, and it's held up well to some enthusiastic tugging and chasing. The length of the pole also allows me to keep a safe distance while still providing a good workout for my dog. However, it's important to note that this flirt pole is best suited for dogs with a strong prey drive. My other dog, who's less interested in chasing, wasn't as engaged with it. Also, the lure, while durable, could be a bit more robust for particularly strong chewers.Overall, this Flirt Pole is a great tool for providing exercise and mental stimulation for dogs. It's not for every dog, but if your furry friend loves to chase and tug, it's a fun and effective way to keep them entertained and active.

Our border collie is hit and miss with the duck when it's on the pole, but she loves to chase it if we throw it. It's well made, but just be wary of allowing the dog to wrestle with the wings and feet, as the stitching may not hold out for extended use. The instructions say for them to catch it and then you tell them to leave it so you can have them chase it again.Even though the duck is mostly now just a standalone toy, it's still good for our dog to play with, and we're sometimes able to get her to chase it while on the pole.

I actually made one of these out of a dog toy, rope and a tree branch 2 years ago.I never knew these existed until I ordered it.This is GREAT 👍 I will be modifying the rope length though. It is too long for my purposes. The toy seems durable and the pole is very sturdy and works well.I researched many different poles prior to my purchase and I am happy with my choice.I would highly recommend this product and my Pups Love it!They are ruff on toys..... Two 3 yr. Old, VERY active Boxers🐾It is a bit pricey in my opinion, perhaps $25 would be a better value. If you have a brain, it is safe!
