Bought this for a friend's son and he loves Harry Potter. This gives a nice look and makes a room with magic. Lighting is good.

I know that none of us are perfect, but the individual or team that came up with the self assembly portion of this kit needs to reconsider their choice of profession.It comes with what is basically fishing line. The tops of the candles have a microscopic hole that you have to have better than 20/20 vision to even attempt to get the fishing line through.Did I mention that you have to get both ends through the tiny hole? Half of them couldn't even fit both ends of the line.Horribly unclear instructions, because when you do manage the finally get the fishing line through, you learn that there are no hooks to attach it to. Only, yet another tiny hole, in the sticky things that you hang from the ceiling.I have a migraine from trying to get this put together. They're neat, but looking at them now just irritates me. Get a different set. Any other set. I'm going to have a drink now.

These *were* lovely, but the wand simply stopped working within weeks.

We needed a solution for light on movie nights. These have been the perfect magical solution. Not to mention, the wand is so fun that the kids fight over who gets to cast spells to turn them on and off. They have a light flicker that makes them feel homey. My only regret is not ordering more.

These were so much fun! Definitely made it feel more Harry Potter! Pretty easy to place batteries, hang, and set up! Our party lasted 3-4hrs and no issues with battery life. Using the wand as the remote worked great!

The concept of the floating candles is really cool. They were a little time consuming to assemble in terms of getting the fishing line through the flames, but they weren’t hard to put together. My biggest complaint is that we can’t get them to stick to the ceiling (see picture for reference). We tried the sticky dots that came with the candles, but we’d heat a candle drop every 20 minutes or so. We then tried clear tape, but that didn’t work either. Going to try thumb tacks with a loop at the end of the fishing line next, but we’ll definitely lose the seamless appearance.

This is the best Harry Potter product I have ever bought. The lights are bright enough to light a room but not blinding. For 20$ they are well worth it coming with 20 candle lights. The assembly is as easy as putting the string in the candle light and hanging them. The remote is very functional and has a little light at the end to simulate a wand from Harry Potter. The lights flicker a little just like a real candle would but it isn’t distracting at all.#1 Harry Potter product I have bought

These are great. Installation instructions a little unclear but it was a breeze once we discovered making the hole at the tip of the flame slightly larger. Only problem now is the wand stopped working! Very bummed after all that work getting them set up. How can I get a replacement wand?
