Seriously, scoring these shelf stands for $30 feels like an absolute steal! Four chunky wood boards with metal T-brackets that actually feel substantial - way sturdier than those flimsy IKEA ones I used to have. My old cheapo stands warped after half a year, but these hold up like a champ - I've got like 15 heavy textbooks stacked on them right now.Love the little details too: rounded edges so you won't scrape your hands, and rubber grip strips on the bottom. They look legit fancy in my living room as bookshelves and even class up my kitchen herb garden. My friend thought they were some high-end designer furniture! Honestly, the craftsmanship at this price puts my old $60 wooden shelves to shame. Already told my DIY group chat about these - trust me, you can't go wrong!

These shelves require some layout planning before installing. They come with hanging templates, but I didn’t really find them to line up that well. I threw them out. That’s just me. I used a level, a pencil and some painter’s tape. A second set of hands helps too. Use the painter’s tape to make templates. Level the brackets against the wall and mark out where you want them to be, keeping in mind that the shelf edge will end up a little further out from the bracket. Line your templates up to the markings then add your anchors. Once you have your brackets up you slide the shelves over and secure. They’re not top quality shelves, but decent and look nice. They’re a good value for the price. They’re not too small so have some functionality for storage, but are better for decor and display. I wouldn’t put too much weight on them.

These were a pain in the BUTT to hang up!First off, the “guide” that it gives you so you know where to drill the holes aren’t the same length as the shelves themself (as seen in the photo) so that was fun.Second off, hope you have different types of screwdrivers because they have different wall mounts depending on what you’re drilling into to put the screws in.Third off, hope you have a drill and different size drill bits for your wall! I had to enlarge the holes in the shelves themselves a couple times using my drill because the guide doesn’t quite match up to the shelves.Fourth off, it can’t seem to hold a lot of weight. Which is very annoying because a shelf should be able to hold at least some books (I’m not talking textbooks or anything fancy).So I put these large holes in my walls for these shelves that don’t hold very much weight, and I had to go buy different screwdriver sizes and drill bits. FUN! 🙄

Honestly, this set of stands is the best value I've ever purchased, and for thirty dollars you get four beautifully crafted plank stands. The quality of each of these shelves far exceeds its price. The brackets that mount these boards are solid metal brackets, and while they can't be reinforced with embedded screws like some hollow brackets, these solid T-brackets are definitely stronger and less prone to bending.
