Thrust washer spec for the shaft well, but was smaller than the OEM washer. Couldn’t use it—had to use my old washer which worked fine.

hub kit made of bad plastic. Installed new , may 23 2024 in new 4 blade props. Test ran boat and both hubs spun out at 4200 rpm at 32 mph. this is the 170 hp mercruiser 4cyl 470 2 bbl engines 26' twin engine cruiser. the hubs are rated at 300 hp max. will purchase oem Mercuiser hubs now.

cant even handle slow speed torque was stripped out before even getting to the lake plastic is too soft and will strip out before you even get on planedon't waste your money and time with this kit

Purchased this hub kit for a new prop for my 150 mercury. The plastic insert seems fine, but the thrust washer and front brass splined end was not machined very good. Even tho it was sloppy I went to tighten it and about the time the shaft was coming through the nylon on the lock it it bound up. Wouldn’t budge. Needless to say it chewed the shaft up fromPour quality. Now I’m going to have to replace the shaft at a cost of 700 bucks. I’m sending it back. Makes me sick.
