***FINAL Update***Do not buy from third party marketplace sellers. The hoops to jump through in order to return something will burn up your time and really get you frustrated because nobody wanted to hear the issue of a defective product..I was told by amazon in a A-Z claim that neither Amazon or the seller was found to be at fault for the defective part...obviously they didn't manufacture it but they did sell it. Do not buy this kit and move on to something better because I can guarantee that you will not be happy with this product. The exhaust clamps are cheap, the pipes leak at open welds and you'll easily be spending a few hundred dollars fixing it to pass inspection. I had manufacturer involvement with a guaranteed not to leak x-pipe replacement that leaks. Not happy when the shop even says it's garbage and can pull a better set of pipes together for cheaper or I can pull out my welder and burn it in better than a manufactuer.***Update***Here I am after driving the car and smelling exhaust in the cabin because the x-pipe leaks and my children complaining about the smell...Just unacceptable. I am in the process of trying to return this garbage exhaust system and the seller is no longer on Amazon. I need the car fixed so the exhaust does not leak and had a perfectly good stock exhaust removed from my vehicle and I'll be left high and dry and can't drive it unless I spend another large chunk of money to buy another system to replace what is on the car. This went from being a fun thing I was doing for myself to becoming the biggest and most ridiculous inconveniences of all times. I urge that anyone considering this brand of exhaust, look elsewhere because it'll cost you more time and money to fix it out of the box than it'll ever be worth.Sound-I wouldn't say it is mild/moderate under acceleration because it sounds really quite aggressive and that's not smashing the throttle either...you can't hear music playing inside the car. It does sound more like a Hemi though but once you get to highway speeds, it slightly rumbles and drones in the cabin but you can still have a conversation and hear music at a reasonable volume. Now the bad is when MDS kicks in and it sounds like a dry fart...I mean it sounds terribly weak and proper exhaust design should take all levels of performance into consideration. As far as the sound goes, I can say that stock exhaust is designed very well from factory, you just do not have the hemi V8 sound excitement. Now onto my criticism of the kit that all should take into serious consideration below.I was excited to do something for me for once and put fun exhaust on my 30k mile magnum. I toyed with a stock exhaust swap from an SRT8 or even a Scat Pack because all LX based cars are pretty much interchangeable with slight mods. I even looked up pipe kits designed specifically for a Magnum and was gonna buy just the mufflers and do my own custom tips and resonators but did not want a bunch of fuss so I ordered this kit. Upon delivery, I inspected the contents and was not very thrilled with the quality. The scavenger pipe was poorly booger welded and had 1/8"-1/4" open gap unwelded which would have caused a huge exhaust leak that would fail inspection. IMHO, the factory pipe is leaps and bounds better than the one included in this kit though it is smaller diameter. The welds are terribly inconsistent on the pipes particularly at the mid-pipe scavenger pipe and the resonators at the rear. I contacted Holley through warranty claims and was told repeatedly that they don't have individual parts to replace flawed pieces and that I had to return the whole kit which is a monstrous inconvenience to which I refused. After a week of contacting them and talking to at least 4 people, one gentleman agreed to have a replacement x-pipe produced and inspected that the welds were proper to prevent a leak. To be frank, the x-pipe welds and that leak should have immediately warranted a replacement of an individual part because shipping is more expensive and they'd lose a customer because if I had returned it, I would not buy another because seriously, there are better kits for slightly more and it's probably worth it. Now getting deeper with further inspection, the driver side resonator has a fat weld that prevents the tip from being installed because the rubber hanger isolators interfere with the tip clamp because the tip cannot be fully seated where it wants to be so it need to be addressed to complete it when I have time. The should have the tip clamps clocked away from where the isolators interfere on top. Unfortunately, I have to do some grinding on it next weekend to get everything proper when I replace the clamps. Yes, I just installed it yesterday and today, the clamps are loose and there are 3 notable exhaust leaks. When installing the kit, I experienced that the included exhaust clamps would not fully clamp the pipes and at least 2 of them stripped nuts. After running it and moving off ramps and a cold night, the mufflers have slightly rotated indicating the clamps failed. I cannot recommend this brand anymore. Flowmaster was my go-to since my mustang/bronco days but now quality is terrible and an unwilling response to replace flawed parts under warranty is ridiculous. For the money, I feel it's overpriced when production quantities override the quality element and again, I cannot honestly recommend it because if I still had the packaging, I would be returning it.

I watched countless youtube videos prior to purchasing this exhaust for my 2005 Dodge Magnum RT. I knew I didn't want the way too aggressive sound of the American Thunder system but I wish there had been a level in between. This system is a little on the quiet side. I know that's probably a good thing, being that I have neighbors and all, but a small part of me really wishes it had just a little more growl. I have a K&N cold air intake so that helps, I imagine it would be way quieter without that. I might add straight pipe where the resonators are to see if that livens it up a bit. I should mention that all of this commentary is about idle, mild acceleration, and cruising. When you put your foot in it, this system definitely lets everyone know you've got a Hemi under the hood.As for the installation, it went super smooth. It is definitely a 2 person job though. The hardest part was the removal of the stock system. Once we got that out the actual install only took about a half hour. Granted, we're pretty handy with a wrench and we had all the tools we needed, but if this takes you more than 2-3 hours total (including beer breaks) something went terribly wrong.Overall, this system is great, I gained a few MPG, the car sounds great and I haven't annoyed my wife or the neighbors too badly.

I like the MBRP on our Challenger much better. The fitment was a nightmare. 1st off, even with the crossover pipe shoved against the floor board the mufflers was way to close to the driveshaft yoke. In fact over a bump they would tap. I had to saw off .75" off of the mid pipes to get them to slide forward enough. 2nd issue is the resonators, did not fit, it shoved tips against the rear facia. I had to space the upper clamps down almost a 1.0". 3rd the rear tips do not fit straight because the welded bracket is in the way. It took me longer putting this system on the Magnum than it did putting JBA headers and a MBRP cat back exhaust system on the Challenger. It has sort of a Magnaflow sound which I'm not the greatest fan of (my own opinion), I prefer a deeper throatier sound. MBRP said they still have the mandrels and they will bend me up a system. I felt no horsepower gain with this system at all.

This product is made of very poor quality. When I received the product it appeared to be well packaged. When I opened the boxes that came in the big box, the pipes had tool marks all over from the "bending" process. Once installed in a 2008 Chrysler 300c, the pipes that connect to the catalytic converter did not create a tight fit. The pipes just floated inside the stock pipes. Of course they recommend that you should weld the junctions of the exhaust to prevent moisture from entering the system. I had to get them welded just to keep the exhaust gases from leaking not to mention the sound it made. I ended up spending about $150 to get the whole system welded. I tried to save some money going with flowmaster but in the end I spent more than I would have buying a better quality product. I would not recommend this to anybody. It is the first and last time that I buy flowmaster. I would recommend Magnaflow or Borla since I have bought these products for other vehicles I have owned and was very satisfied with the quality and performance.

The sound is excellent.. These went on my wife's car.. Simple instalation.. I couldn't be more pleased.. Got a system just like it on my 2011 Challenger R/T and I love it.. Actually quieter on the inside, but at the rear, it is all business. No drone whatsoever.. RP Eastman, Ga
