The product is made from low quality materials, and the customer service is terrible. When I asked to return this after a couple of days, they wanted to charge me a $5 return fee. The rep who messaged me was extremely unsympathetic and unhelpful. I then asked Amazon, who waived the fee. Would never buy from this seller again. Nor would I recommend this seller to anyone.

The buttons I had were just smaller, but I didn't measure them before ordering. I was looking to get more buttons anyway, so I ordered the size stated and they fit perfectly.

Is the cat supposed to eat the product or tap buttons? She's not a baby baby. 1 year old who doesn't chew anything other than these foam puzzle/interlocking pieces.Kitty is more interested in it as a chew toy.Love it but rings don't stay in the foam

These work great at locking buttons in place (we only use large buttons for now) and they don't slide around on the floor.I bought four tiles on sale and wish I had bought more at the time. I have since come back and bought two more for a full price and it seems this design is being discontinued. My dog has been using her buttons regularly but, since locking them into the mat last night, has been reluctant. I'm not concerned, she will get used to it. Just a note for others that this can happen.Only a couple of downsides: 1. the Fluent Pet frames are not compatible with these tiles and 2. the cost. Especially buying from Australia, the exchange rate really elevates the cost further. Someone mentioned the strong smell in their review. That is perfectly normal considering the materials used and that they have been sealed in packaging. They can easily be aired out and the smell dissipates.Overall, very happy that these tiles exist and are compatible with other brand large buttons.

I want to write a great review for this product because it is well-designed, and, I love what this company is doing to help people understand that animals have emotions, intelligence, and rich inner lives. The larger size hextile mat with the 2 size options is great. Also, the non-verbal communication aspect is wonderful. However, I have to tell people that this is the most toxic smelling product I have purchased in years. I gagged when I opened the package and didn't want my small animal friend to be exposed to them. I washed my mat(s) with detergent and then left them outside for a few days (it was honestly that bad). I feel sorry for the people who work in the factory that make this product. Manufacturer, please make these mats with a non-toxic material! Let's stop kidding around with the environment and our health. This is an honest review.

I do think these were a little expensive, but they are durable, they are sectioned out for two different sizes of buttons, they do have a rubber backing and they do fit neatly together.

To teach my dog communication with buttons, I went with off-brand recordable buttons to be more cost effective. It is great that Fluentpet sells these mats separately because $10 a pop isn't too bad. The foam inserts pop out to fit 3 in or smaller buttons. The rubber underside is high quality. The buttons fit in the little holes, but sit on the rubber, they don't go all the way through. Love them! The mats pop out of the excess foam squares like cookies, so there is leftover rubber mat material which we've used for other craft projects.
