I do mostly specialty work and wanted a small travel meter. This is the perfect size.I will say the only draw-back is there is an inherit delay (slow resolution) this meter suffers from. So, don't get in a hurry to take measurements... it takes about 1/2 second for the meter resolution to update.

Gotta love this baby Fluke meter. Look and feel of the bigger meters. Accurate, easy to use and a breeze to throw into a bag and carry around.

It's a Fluke, so you can expect good accuracy and reliability. I like that it's compact, as we're using it at my company in a travel repair kit for field service.

I compared this Fluke 107 with my Fluke 77-IV, there was a very slight difference in readings: voltage DC/AC, and resistance. Works good enough for home use, and my cars.

I use this constantly at my job as a heavy duty mechanic working on all sorts of water pumps with various drive systems. I lost my other fluke meters so ordered this to replace them. So far it’s served me well and seems to get accurate readings when used correctly. Even in lower voltage automotive electrical diagnostics this model has helped tremendously with locating faulty sensors or wiring in a given circuit.

READ BEFORE PURCHASING!!!The Fluke 107 I received was shipped from India and took 16 days to arrive here in Portugal.THE GOODThe multimeter came loaded with fresh Duracell batteries preinstalled and the multimeter works as expected. The screen had a protective film on it and the packaging used for shipment was EXCELLENT. The multimeter and its accessories show no obvious signs of prior usage.CONCERNSThe enclosed calibration certificate states that it is valid FOR INDIA ONLY. I wish I had known this ahead of time. The security seal states that the warranty is for INDIA ONLY. The retail box of the multimeter was crushed and it was possible to remove the multimeter without breaking the security seal on the box. it was unclear if the unit had been previously opened. None of the contents were wrapped in plastic except for the stand which was not sealed.Everything seems to work fine and it appears to be legit but the items I mentioned make me worry a little. I am disappointed about the packaging being worn and, more importantly, that the seller didn't mention the warranty or certification being valid in India only. I have written Fluke and will return the product if they say this is an issue or that the unit is refurbished.UPDATE FROM FLUKE:"The Fluke 107 is not a product intended for the European market and therefore is not covered by the European warranty in case of problems. Our advice is to purchased our instruments through authorized distributors. A similar product could be the Fluke 115 for example."Just be aware of this before making your purchase. ;)

Fluke is a brand name now. Engineers and technical person knows fluke products is one the best. Product is compact yet very useful.
