I recently order 1/4" dowels from 2 other vendors on Amazon. several hundred dowels went into the trash because they were all nonreturnable. Nice looking dowels. However, they were 7/32" in diameter not a full 1/4".I will be ordering from this company going forward. Good solid dependable dowels! And I use a lot of them in my business.

I think they might be metric or ? They work if u use a slightly smaller drill bit. Reason for 4 stars is … this should be in description.

These dowels are nicely made. My dowel jig uses 8mm drills and these fit fine.

These worked great on recent big project that used about 360 of these dowel pins. Fluted barrels to allow some glue and still fit snugly in the hole. Strong enough to be driven in if necessary and resist splitting or mushrooming. A good value and will definitely buy again.

These are true to size. I measured them with calipers and they run within a couple thousands of .250. They are a nice tap fit in my 1/4" drilled holes. Really can't ask for anything else.

I made a card holder on a lazy susan for playing a game that uses 6 decks of cards. I made 4 holders on the perimeter and one in the center. These dowels worked perfectly. I painted mine to match the lazy susan.
