I love this little telescoping net! It offers the ability to get into corners and under plants. It helps with pruning a planted aquarium. I can make cuts and not worry about all the little pieces because I can get into all the nooks and crannies. Also helps with those darned bladder snails/hitch hikers that can be such a nuisance. I can scoop them out as well.

Great as far the netting itself but the handle is not sturdy and the net head part itself has already separated from the handle just from a gentle pull when trying to see how far the handle full extends. The net circle itself is tiny so if you have a fish larger than a guppy do not even bother purchasing this. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

This is the shrimp net I have been looking for! Makes it super easy to catch my shrimp, they practically swim right in on their own! Construction seems fine to me, although I don't intend to use it for anything other than catching dwarf shrimp and small fish. The netting is very fine, which I like, and it makes it easier to see them in the net.

Für den Anschaffungspreis darf man echt nicht meckern. das Teleskop lässt sich prima aus- und einfahren. Einziger Punktabzug muss ich geben auf den eingeklebten Kescher. Hier löst sich der Kleber und der Kescher sitzt lose im Teleskop. Ich habe mir mit speziellem Sekundenkleber helfen können und die Sache war behoben.

Great size, love the telescopic rod, makes it easy to use in different depth tanks. Works well even with larger shrimp like Amano. Awesome for catching fry like guppy or for example). I think A MUST net for any NANO tank.Best feature is that the net stays open and doesn't collapse while trying to net a shrimp.

After using it three times, with operation under water for maybe lifetime total of one minute, the round "head" of this net simply fell off. Upon closer inspection, this isn't really a defect as opposed to a terribly shoddy product. The "neck" of the head is a poorly twisted base metal that's only about an inch long, and crammed into the telescoping handle end with some shoddy bond/glue. That means you're looking at a net with an actual handle/base of one inch, pretending to have a real handle (the hollow telescoping bit). I am past the return date on this item, but this is easily replaced by many other quality nets found online or at the LFS. Just warning potential buyers that this thing is complete garbage.

EXCELLENT NET! I have purchased many of these over the past few years for my aquarium hobby, for both freshwater and saltwater.FRESHWATER: I used this regularly for my freshwater shrimp tanks. Specifically I was keeping crystal red shrimps (CRS), fire red shrimps, blue bolt. These are the perfect size to catch these small ornamental shrimp. They were really helpful when the shrimp bred and babies were everywhere. I found that these nets were small enough to catch even the tiniest babies.SALTWATER: I used these for completely different reasons in my reef tank. I actually used this to strain my frozen mysis shrimp. I hate all the extra gunk in the frozen foods so I regularly strain the frozen mysis before putting into my tank. All that extra gunk translates to more phosphate and that equals more phosphates. I found the holes were small enough to keep the majority of nice chunks of mysis, but all the other gunk would be washed away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for straining your frozen foods to get rid of all the stuff you don't want floating in your tank.OVERALL BUILD: Pretty good although the telescoping aspect was a bit flimsy. Of note, when I was using in the salt tank, noticed that telescoping aspect of net became harder to pull apart after several months. Probably due to the salt? But given the perfect size of the net and holes, I still give it 5 stars. Price is also fair.

I primarily purchased this for my neocaridina and cardina shrimp tank. I've also used it for small fish. I would have given this five stars but the materials and netting could've been a little more study. For example, a "3D" netting would have been nice that if they used a more rigid net material, the net would stay open instead off collapse when you pull the shrimp out of the water. These shrimp nets exists, but they're more expensive. So for this Fluval net being the best buy I have no regrets. Highly recommended for you shrimp keepers.
