I'm a hobbyist so my welding experience is limited, but this wire works out great. No issues with it whatsoever. Feeds fine, flows good, holds mild steel together. Not much else to say. I don't need a gas setup for what I do, so flux core is my go to wire. This wire fits the bill and is easy to work with.

This welding wire feeds smoothly and melts with little splatter. Welds are solid. Mostly just working on light material, some utensils and old tools. Yard art sort of stuff.

This wire works as well as any I've used. The spatter isn't anything unusual for flux core wire, and the slag chips off relatively easily. I did a couple bend tests, and it seems to have similar tensile strength to the wires I have from other brands like Lincoln or Hobart.

The E71T-GS flux core welding wire works well for my MIG welding projects, especially when welding outdoors without gas. The 0.030-inch diameter feeds smoothly, and I’ve gotten good penetration with minimal spatter when dialing in the right settings. It runs clean for a self-shielded wire and produces solid welds on mild steel. The 2-pound spool is convenient for small projects or touch-ups without taking up too much space.
