Your cart is empty.How to Release Fly Parasites: To release, simply sprinkle Fly Parasites near manure and then lightly cover to protect from birds or hang release bags off the ground to protect from birds and rodents out of direct sunlight. Height is not critical. Fly Parasites will self-distribute up to 100 yards. In early spring, Fly Parasites should be released at first sight of flies.
Top release sites include; barns, stables, kennels, manure/urine-soaked bedding, chicken coops, on feedlots, and wherever straw bedding is provided for animals.
Other potential fly-breeding areas include; compost piles, garbage cans, septic tanks, and near water sources, but not directly in.

Fly Parasites feed on Horse Fly, House Fly, and Filth Fly. These tiny flying insects are completely biteless, stingless, and do not bother humans or animals. The key to using this is before you have a fly problem! They work great but you may not see a huge difference in the amount of flys if you already have a huge problem. These take time to work they attack the fly larvae before they turn into flies. So use as a preventative before your problem starts.

I think it's working. We had a lot of flies at the chicken coop and now there's not a fly on 1 single poop. I have 8 chickens and I bought the 1,000 count. Towards the end of the month, I'll see if the flies come back and then I'll know. But I'm pretty sure this works!Update: 5 days after this review, we have flies in the chicken run again. I have 8 chickens, 4 are young with small poop and they free range often. So maybe it worked for 2 weeks, I'm not sure.

I set up auto delivery as suggested. A couple of weeks after the second delivery my chicken coop is covered in flies and it wasn't before; I was hoping to prevent the flies! I emailed the company and got some sort of chatbot response. Also note: I only have 4 chickens. Disappointing.

Bought 1000 of these for a 12 x 14 chicken run. Placed it underneath a tree right next to the run. Over a month later I still have a bunch of flies.
