I thought I didn't get it at first. Comes in a very small plain box. Looks like filler. Never been fly fishing. Not sure if the person is trying to get more money for less. I think you can only use about 10 of them though. Kind of. Perfect for DIY fishing decoration. Or decoration for a fishing hat?

Every thing was perfect except the hook size, too small for my needs

This CTrowelpro fly kit is a nice assortment of flies in a great pocket-sized case. The pocket-sized case measures 5 3/8" X 3 1/2". It's made of hard but flexible plastic unlike those that crack when you're trying to open them. It features a decent rubber seal around the edge which will keep water out. Also has a metal sin in the hinge that tends to last longer. The foam insert has slots for 120 flies total. Now I'm no fly guru just a novice trying to learn to fly fish. There are 100 flies in this box that are supposed to simulate the state of a caterpillar. there are 5 of each fly so I have multiples when one finds a tree or heavy grass. They look like tiny flies that are buzzing around my head when I'm fishing. They a well tied, no loose strings, or "wings out of place. Nothing seems to pull out when run between my fingers. I haven't got a chance to fish them yet because the wind is 17mph+ the past few days but hopefully this weekend it will die down.

As described, there are 100 flies included plus a fly box. I've been tying flies for over 30 years, and I wouldn't characterize any of these, save for the beadhead Wooly Buggers, as conventional patterns. That said, I imagine that any fly in the box will catch fish. Among other things, I have found that trout are less conventional than trout fishermen. I think the selection can be divided into two groups. One group of flies should work for trout. The other group would be for targeting panfish. I also think this item would be a great gift for the novice fly fisherman. It's appeal for veteran anglers might be that as backups. Lastly, the fly box in which they come is nicely constructed. It is a bit more robust than I had expected it to be with a solid clasp closure and a good hinge.
