First, My experience. I have been tying for close to 50 years and I have tied commercially.This thread is really nice !! For the price it is Incredible !!!It does have a few things that need to be addressed but they are common to ALL GSP tying thread. It is Very smooth so to get it started with little bulk I put a drop of super glue on the hook shank.The other issue is it cutting through soft materials like foam ant bodies. A simple solution is to glue the body to the top of the hook shank and then use the the post material as a cushion on top of the foam to tie it down tight.I have tied a couple dozen flies using these methods and I am really enjoying how little bulk there is in my flies and how precise my wraps can be.Worth every penny !!!
