I bought this after a different design I had broke because it didn’t have any plastic parts and seemed to be a much more durable design. What I didn’t realize was that the strap was too short to actually get your feet between the bar and a door so it doesn’t work for a Nordic hamstring curl, which is why I got it. It would work for other things maybe, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

I got this mainly for sit-ups and it's working pretty well for that. But you can't turn over and do anything fancy like hamstrings, as others have pointed out - it's just not long enough. Plus, if you rely on it too heavily, it has come out from under the door a few times.Could be the height of my door that’s the issue (although think that’s pretty standard in most US homes). I think the padding could be a bit thicker as this could be a real safety issue.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

I am not a post-resolution exercise person. I have used my diet for weight control. I am not the same size that I was in the Army; I went from 110 lbs at Basic to 135 at discharge 5 years later. Graves Disease took me from 180 to 140 in months in my early 30s. I lost muscle mass as well during that time. I protected my back while I was a CNA, but arthritis in my lumbar spine undid my effort. When the pain became unbearable, I was put in Physical Therapy to strengthen my core. I can’t do squats now as I can’t do them with any alacrity. The one thing that did help during cardio kickboxing was elevated sit ups. As we have a collection of exercise equipment, I need a more compact one to not add to the space. This allows me to do sit-ups more effectively as elevated ones are off the books sadly. The size is small enough to use any door around the house. I would be telling a tale if I said that I take it on trips. I would need to bring a yoga mat and disinfect it. The setup doesn’t tell like it is going to separate in the middle of a sit-up!

The design makes sense; slide the strap with the wedge underneath a common door, then close the door so it’s anchored. The problem is that the strap that connects the “T” part which is meant to slide or the tops of your heels just isn’t long enough. Product does not work as advertised basically.
