Oil collects around the glass nozzle and onto the top of the bottle. When pouring, it makes its way between the cap and the sides of the top of the bottle and polymerizes, causing stickiness and making it hard to open the bottle.

Although this is an olive oil bottle, I purchased it for the use of dish soap. I will be adding a dish soap label which I also purchased... I was a little apprehensive about buying this bottle because so many reviews said that it leaks . But fortunately this one does not. I just ordered a second one because my daughter wants one to use for dish soap. Received my second order and happy to say that this one doesn't leak either. Added the soap dish label.

I love the way it looks the ease to open and close, its actually 750ml to the brim. Durable strong bottle. However, If you need to travel to a location with liquid in this bottle, beware that it does not have a liquid stopper of some sort to prevent liquid from spilling out when knocked over or other situations where the bottle might tip over. Otherwise it’s a great purchase and it’s making my business flow much more Efficiently. Would tell anyone to purchase this bottle!

This stainless steel receptacle is just what I was looking for. The plastic spout is sturdy and angled just right. The cap is a little looser than I was expecting but when I remove it there's a bit of suction, so it's actually pretty tight. When you screw the top off the opening is big enough to easily accommodate filling, and with one of those spongy brushes big enough to allow you to clean the bottle if you are so inclined.One of the star rankings I was asked to rank for this review was how leak proof the item is. This product is not going to spill all over if you knock it over with the cap on, but it's not meant to be leak proof. If you want something leak proof I guess you have to leave your olive oil in the bottle that comes in.

Oil leaks every time I use. I tried blowing air through the hole thinking the air hole was blocked. I tried putting a needle in the air hole. I tried closing the gasket so tight to prevent the leak. None of that works. I have been wrapping a paper towel around the gasket to catch the leak and change it when soaked with oil. Too bad it has the issue. I bought it to prevent air and light for my expensive olive oil but if half of my oil is going waste anyway, what’s the point.

I have always kept my olive oil in a green glass bottle with a dispenser top shoved in the top. It leaked and I had to keep pushing the top back in due to the slipperiness of the oil. Eventually the rubber bottom move the dispenser wore out and I had to search for an alternative. I wasn't sure about this bottle. It's super inexpensive and had some mixed reviews. I am in love with this thing. The top screws on, so no slippage. It is not perfectly non-drip, but is is a vast improvement over my previous dispenser. Drippage is minimal and easily wiped up. Plus I like the clean modern look. Glad I bought it and totally worth the (inexpensive) cost.

I purchased this not for oil but for my dish soap. I wanted something nice for the counter but not glass in case it dropped and broke. Very good size and it holds a full bottle of soap. High quality stainless with a good size pouring spout.

I like this dispenser a lot. It looks great, it's a good size and it pours nicely. However, when you put the cap back on it, it creates pressure and causes oil to leak out of where the spout screws on to the base. It's not a huge deal and I'm still happy with the purchase.

This is a great bottle! I've gone through about 5 -6 different types of oil bottles. Each of previous ones had the rubber stopper type at top. The problem with those are the rubber disintegrates after a while so gets gunky and have to replace. I've tried the full plastic squeeze bottle type, but those tend not to be too good for dripping oil. This one is very good as its solid, easy to pour in oil, spout is very good for controlling pour, stainless steel makes for easy clean, and no drips!
