The newly designed New Spiral blades are an excellent spiral blade. With teeth down both sides of the blade and then twisted, it gives a smoother cut than regular spiral blades. Flying Dutchman scroll saw blades are 5" long and are pinless. They are all milled blades, which makes for a sharper cutting edge. Flying Dutchman blades are manufactured in Germany with top-grade, high-quality hardened steel.

Bought these to cut through Brazilian IOE making trivets. These blades do cut well…. But break fast. I reverted to using their regular blades and those lasted super long time.Granted, IOE smokes and burns, requiring a 15 second pause every two inches due to the density of the wood, but the regular odd spaced tooth blade are wonderful.I now have so many spiral blades which I am reluctant to use.

Best blades I've yet tried for fine detail cutting. Cuts in any direction without turning your workpiece, just change feed direction.

I don't think I'll ever use any other scroll saw blades again. Especially in a small shop, the ability to make scroll cuts in any direction is invaluable. 90% of the time I can leave my saw tucked into a tight corner and make any cuts I need to without turning the work piece.

Im a beginner scroller so i havent used to many other blades but these ones are way better then the ones included in my scroll saw pakage. They cut like butter and last pretty long ive been mostly cutting walnut .

Works very well for rounded lettering cuts, for my needs, or making quick work of small circular cut outs. Now I am very new to scroll sawing, and perhaps other, more seasoned master Craftsman can come to a sharp point cut out with this blade, but I need a bit if practice on that yet. However, these work very well for specific types of cuts 👍
