60$ for a pocket O'scope. - That's something I'd never thought I'd see. The ones I grew up using were the size of a carry-on suite case in the Air Force - working the flight line, and weighted like 20lbs. This things is crazy compared to what I'm used to.It took me about 3 minutes to figure out how to change the language without opening the instruction manual. I didn't even dump out all the contents of the box until I realized it came with a probe - that reminded me of our x10 probes that we carried with our O-scopes! I know it's not a x10, but it's a probe nonetheless. It's an O'scope and a Signal Generator to boot! The menus are easy to navigate once you get used to it. It took me a few minutes.I really couldn't believe it honestly. Now I can't wait to toy around with this thing.Totally worth the price if you ask me - I never thought I'd be able to have this kind of test equipment in my own home after I got out of the Air Force.

as someone who works on vehicles & builds custom computers, i've wanted an oscilloscope for ages but couldn't justify the cost of pro-grade equipment. this portable unit has been a great compromise between capability & cost for my home garage diagnostics.first impression was that it's smaller than expected but feels solidly built. definitely not cheap plastic junk - the case is durable & all buttons have good tactile feedback. setup was straightforward & the menu system is fairly intuitive once you get used to the layout. took about 10 minutes of playing with it before i felt comfortable navigating the functions.performance is impressive for the size & price point. the 10MHz bandwidth is plenty for automotive work - been using it primarily for diagnosing sensor issues on my denali & checking injector pulse patterns. the sampling rate is fast enough to catch most automotive signals clearly & the auto trigger function works well for capturing intermittent issues.the signal generator function is a great bonus feature that i've already used several times to test component responses. having both functions in one portable unit means i can bring it to friends' garages when helping with their projects without hauling a bunch of separate equipment.battery life is good - gets about 4 hours of continuous use which is plenty for most diagnostic sessions. recharges quickly & can also run while plugged in which is convenient for longer jobs. the included probe is decent quality & included accessories cover most basic needs right out of the box.where this loses a star is the display. while functional, the 2.8" screen is on the small side & the resolution could be better for detailed signal analysis. in bright garage lighting it can be hard to see fine details without squinting or shading the screen. not a dealbreaker but definitely the weak point in an otherwise solid tool.storage memory is adequate for most uses & the save/recall functions work well for comparing signals over time. menu navigation gets faster once you're familiar with it but there is a learning curve compared to more expensive units with touchscreens or dedicated function buttons.overall this has been a valuable addition to my diagnostic toolkit. not pro-grade but absolutely capable for serious hobbyist or home garage use. perfect for someone like me who needs the functionality but can't justify spending thousands on professional equipment for occasional use. just be prepared for some squinting at that small screen
