So I wanted to start learning stick fighting, arnis Kali and what not, and I just ran into these which looked cool and I like the fact that they had foam since I wanted to start off with something that was a little bit more protective at frist with me startong out.Like these things are the best as soon as I got them me and my roommate went crazy hitting each other, it doesnt really hurt, no more than what a slap does 🤷 but it's great to practice with especially when you hit someones hand, it hurts but not enough to stop or damage. My roommate just bought some for themselves and I'm just in love with these things

The kids use these when I'm not around to spar with each other, so I know they are pretty sturdy. I use it to practice their blocking techniques with them. Just make sure to teach your aspiring martial artists that it they use these on each other to not swing too hard. These are not foam toys, they do hurt it swung too hard.

I got these to start training my 5yo in kali. The thickness is pretty spot on for training purposes and built in a way which you can strike with decent force and you will barely feel it. The downside of the build is they bend a bit. I have my kid practice follow through with as much force as they feel confident using so the bend a bit and I don't get as many nasty looking bruises.

These are better than expected. When I read they were PVC, I was thinking they might be just a plastic pvc pipe wrapped in foam. Nope. They seem to be made of a solid PVC core, and overall have a very good weight to them equivalent to wood. Without the skull cracking of course because they are covered with foam. Can't go wrong with these, the price is super fair and quality is as good as one could expect for a training weapon.

All four came in, but out of the four, two were in good condition, the foam on the other two as ripped on some parts. Other than that, the weight feels good for them, ideal for practice.

For many years I was into numerous stick fighting arts such as Arnis, but my reason for purchasing this great 4 pack set with 2 pairs (foam practice Escrima Sticks, black 26 inches long, and 1 ¼ diameter) of Arnis sticks was not for combat practice but actually for practicing the Japanese Taiko drum techniques without having to have a Taiko drum. These sticks of course are longer than the Bachi (Taiko drum sticks) and they are also heavier and filled with a heavy sturdy plastic stick inside. I found them fantastic for training in the basic drumming techniques used in the art of the Taiko (Japanese drum). Since actual practice using an expensive Taiko drum is not always practical or available it is many times difficult to practice the drum strikes; however, using these foam sticks you can strike against pads and other objects with no damage to the sticks or striking objects. The weight of these sticks are also a plus to make you stronger in the striking and drumming techniques. These sticks are great for all kinds of stick fighting but in my opinion they can also be used to practice Taiko drum striking techniques with safety. If you are seeking a great sturdy pair of Escrima sticks for practice at a bargain price you should check out this product.Rating: 5 Stars. These are very good Escrima Foam Sticks. Only gave 4 Stars because the end caps keep falling off but hot glue works well. Also, these Foam Sticks came as a package of 4 which was very convenient. Some of these "stick makers" show pictures of multiple sticks but if you read the fine print, it's only for one stick.

A lot sturdier than the other ones I ordered (same day -- BladesUSA E614 Foam Padded Training Escrima Stick 26-Inch).These are stronger, firmer, and more suitable to some light sparring than most of the alternatives online here.Of course, real unpadded wood is excellent, but if you must go the padded route, then I'd strongly advise getting a pack of these. At $20ish US$, it's not a bad deal.
