This Quick-release lens foot plate is specially designed to take the place of the original tripod collar foot, fits for Nikon NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S, Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S, Z 400mm F4.5 VR S, Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens (Z Mount). It features Arca-compatible dovetail which allow you attach your lens to Tripod Ball Head, Clamp or Panorama Head of Arca-Swiss standard.

The FocusFoto lens foot for Nikon 100-400 lens is all metal construction with a nice finish. It weighs 3.56 oz vs 2.93 oz for original Nikon mount. The original Nikon mount is a tad smaller in size, rougher finish, but had a smooth fit for removal and install on to the lens. The FocusFoto had a tight fit and didn't come off as easily, had less side to side movement vs the Nikon mount. The mount clicked in-place and was secured. Per the photos, the new mount didn't sit flush with the lens as the original. Overall, the FocusFoto fit my Arca-Swiss tripod head with no issues and is convenient to use once installed. The mount felt secure and didn't give the feeling that it would fall off. Rated 3-stars

The plate doesn't fit perfectly the lens shoe and even when you turn the bolt, the plate still does move. It's even hard to insert it.....Really not a good product.
