I have a tub in my new house that I will never use. (Shower is separate in bathroom). I wanted something to put over the tub, and use the tub as extra storage for TP, towels, etc. I spread it over the tub and placed a decorative throw over it. (It is not meant to hold any weight, can't be used as a place to sit, which I knew). It seemed like it would work...until you try to move it/open it to get something out. It then slides off easily and basically falls into the tub and difficult to put back on. Now, maybe my tub edges are smaller than normal (but I doubt it), but I do not see how it would work as intended to hold in heat while you soak and place your phone or tablet on it. One wrong move, and it would all come crashing down on you. Made of a thinner plastic. Dog panicked one night with fireworks and ran into bathroom, crashed on top of it and now there are holes where her paw hit it.

Excellent quality and design - almost. It would be ideal if it was one inch wider. Because the edges sit right in the center of the lip of my antique claw-foot tub, it looks great as a cover. However, unless it is folded or unfolded VERY carefully, it is easy to make it fall into the tub. Not pleasant, especially when one is bathing! I would not recommend placing electrical devices or glass on the cover while using the tub.
