I am not sure why everyone is saying this is sturdy. My daughter is a very petite 8 year old and the entire unit moves when she uses it/ flips. It shakes from side to side and I am thinking about returning it. Only issue is the screws are in there and I dont know if I can take them out. I would not recommend this product although it is cute.

This is a sturdy bar that was relatively easy to put together. It supports my weight and feels sturdy so I trust it to support my kids’ too. I like that it is both adjustable and that it folds down for storage. We didn’t get the version with the mat because we have several tumbling mats, but that would probably fit best. The bar looks like it is wooden but it’s really just wrapped in wood colored contact paper, I’m not sure what it’s actually made of. I really only have two concerns - one is that the instructions weren’t clear at all. Putting it together was pretty intuitive but since it’s something meant to hold people up, and could be disastrous if it collapsed, I would prefer clearer instructions. My other concern is that it definitely becomes more wobbly as it’s used, even for a few hours. It does still feel safe but is noticeably less stable, even with super tight screws. The wrenches that come with it are pretty basic and we were able to get much tighter screws and bolts with real hardware but again, it should be super stable.Overall I do really like this and feel like it is MUCH better made than some other options but the instructions could be better and the wobbling makes a little nervous, especially for bigger or stronger kids.

We love this gymnastic bar!!! Our babies range from 8 to 2 and it can be set for all of them to play with it!!! This bar is sturdy and the mat provides extra safety for the kids. I recommend this to anyone looking for great indoor fun this winter !!!

My daughters use this on a daily basis to practice their pullovers and swings, to stretch and monkey around. Very sturdy and I believe it will last.
