I bought this to hold my Banjolele because it holds the neck and bottom of the instrument instead of pushing into the body. It woks as expected and looks nice, too.

Easy to set up and tear down for travel. Fits mandolin or fiddle and I can adjust it for my uke too.

Thought I'd add a photo of a banjo for those like me that have one! As I don't have the resonator attached some of the cheaper stands don't work, so one that holds the neck is a must! This stand is great: sturdy and light. Plus it folds easy when needed. 👍

This stand is incredibly stable. It holds from my little concert ukulele up to my uncle's full size open-back banjo (but that is its limit and I wouldn't recommend a stand this small for the full size). It will also hold my mandolin, banjo-uke, and mini banjo. A great buy all around. If I decide I want a second instrument at the ready, I will definitely get another one of these stands.

This is the third stand I've bought in an attempt to find something that works for my mandolin. Others priced £8-10 lower than this one had great reviewa, yet simply didn't work. They tipped over with the weight of the mandolin, or they didn't support the instrument in a stable position. This one is infinitely superior. Perfect for standing on the ground, or on a tabletop. Totally spot on.

Looked at every option out there for stands that would accommodate a mandolin. Then I finally came across this little gem. The design and engineering of it eclipses all the other options. Secures the instrument in 3 points with great cushioning and protection. Very stable in use, yet can be made portable quickly. Does not tip easily frontward, backwards or side to side. It looks, works and feels very professional for the price (stage worthy). Don't hang your instrument or have it rubbed on the back, get this and have no worries.

I use this stand for my F style mandolin to sit on while using a ToneRire device to improve the sound. The stand has two side legs and one short rear leg that leans the stand further back than I like. It would be great for folding up and transporting to gigs. Would work better if the legs were longer and more stable. The legs are about 6 inches long and and wider stance would be more helpful.
