I’m a bit disappointed in seeing how damaged it was coming right out of the box prior review stated that and they are correct. This is pretty messed up. I haven’t used it yet so I can’t really comment on how effective that works but it still should work fine, but I can’t give this five stars for how bad the condition I received it in.

Came damaged, and dirty, and the quality is flimsy. I'm shocked at the cost. Go buy the flat and not skip corners. Not worth the money. It should be sold for $75 tops. No exaggeration.

Despite reading other reviews, my product arrived in great condition with no damages. All the pieces work properly. The velcro might be easy to miss as it's in a tiny ziplock bag inside a huge box. Just stick too the the board when you're not using it so you don't lose while transporting the boards.

It's probably inevitable the size of the box and everything, but it will likely arrive with dings and dents.I bought two, ended up returning one because it was pretty beat up

I’ve been wanting one of these for awhile. Although this is a great concept, at $200, I shouldn’t have to go out and buy Velcro to keep the open flaps attached and a carrying bag. Both were missing.I still gave it 4 stars for the concept. Just wish it came with everything.

I use V-Flats for headshots and I ordered one of these as a replacement for an old one that is too beat up to use anymore. This one arrived quickly and it is much more light weight and sturdy, however it was damaged in transit. I ordered a replacement which also came damaged. These are made of very soft foam core, I don't see how they will survive any transit without better packaging and its annoying to have to return them to UPS. Also it is not easy to fold so that the black is on the inside of the fold, the bigger seam is visible when folded for the black side.

This is a great way to up your game in portraiture, especially environmental and outdoors. Personally, I usually buy these for the diffuser, so that's the only part I really have experience with. I did see that some other people reported receiving a slightly dirty product, but I did not have that issue at all.In application for group photos, I would say that this is well suited to groups of up to 2 or 3 people; beyond that, unless you have a ladder, tall stand, or multiple of these, it will be difficult to effectively diffuse light falling onto groups.
