Previously, I had a silicone version of this, and my bunny loved it. I would stuff it with treats and hay, and he would go to town. Unfortunately, since it was rubber, it did not last very long and was reduced to sad pieces scattered amongst the bottom of his cage. That being said, when I saw these metal feeders, I thought it would be perfect for him. I stuffed it with hay and treats, put it exactly where the old one used to be, and proudly presented it to my bunny in the hopes that he would love it as much as his last one (RIP). Yeah, not so much. Even with the assortments of treats inside the ball, he prefers his ordinary on-the-wall hay rack (which has no treats) and has barely touched this toy. I am disappointed.

I got this for my guinea pigs thinking it would be a fun way for them to eat their hay and treats. They didn't care for it. They were eating quite a bit less of their hay than they should and were constantly squeeling for food when they'd hear me close by. So I just put their hay back in their hay holder and they were happy again.
