I got this so when I cook with larger pots on smaller stoves while camping I have a more stable platform. I'm attaching pictures using it with a Soto 340 butane stove. It's the perfect height to be right on top of the flame, but not bearing weight on the stove. It's not super light weight, but I use it for car camping/kayak camping where I'm not really concerned with the weight. Having said that, the weight makes it feel very sturdy.

The weight of this stand is good, and the legs are stable. The rack, however, has some welded irregularities and the individual grate lengths are not level ... they dip from the sides slightly into the center. Not sure if this was by design or just because the steel is not as strong as it looks. I don't plan to put anything overly heavy on this for cooking, and the rim will be additionally supported by my portable cook stove. I do wish it came with a carry bag of some sort because I know it will get blackened a bit when using over an open flame.
