Exactly what I expected and a little more. It comes all assembled and ready to go, this isn’t meant to replace a box spring mind you it will collapse. But I have a king size bed on a slatted bed frame and I was having a lot of issues with sagging where there was no support. This solved the issue and is very sturdy for its price.

I have a bed frame with narrow metal bars about 6 inches apart. That's a bit far apart for proper support of a foam mattress. Over time, my mattress had started to feel less comfortable as it began curving into the gaps between the metal bars.This folding mat supports the entire mattress! I got the full size and it fits perfectly in the bed frame to give every inch of the mattress great support.It is not easy to find bedding accessories for full size beds. It seems that is not currently a popular size and even finding deep pocket cotton sheets for a full size mattress can be a challenge. A bunkie board in full size that is both quality made and affordable is quite the find. I am very happy with this purchase.

If you have a bunk or loft bed, this support is exactly what you need.I purchased this for an IKEA Kura bed, as I wanted extra support for the mattress. This piece fit perfectly on top of the wooden bed slats, and prevents the mattress from sagging ad well as providing more stability.This comes folded up, simply unfold and it is ready to set on the bed. And if you ever need to store it, simply fold back up. Much better solution than a wooden bunk board, and a good value too.It is sturdy, well made, and can easily be wiped down if needed.Overall a great product!

Got this for my spare bed and it's really not going to offer much support so much as weight distribution. It offers a small aide to metal frame bed but due to the lack of rigidity it wont hold up with intense or sudden weight. Stable enough on the bed, it doesn't hinder any bed rocking obviously but it will help stop a mattress from shifting at night. Folds and store rather well. Good for aid in a bed frame but NOT one without already a decent amount of structural support.

If I were looking for really solid support for a bed, I probably would go for something else. It’s kind of ironic that I happened across a similar product that called itself as “heavy duty”. That thing is made out of some kind of compressed fiber board or engineered wood, and it weighs a ton. I sort of thought that all of these things were made like that, so when I received this, I kind of thought. “what the heck is this?” I can easily carry the entire thing in one hand.I wouldn’t say that this is bad, it definitely will provide some extra support, and it has a nice surface that’s nonslip on one side. And there is a certain advantage of these being pretty lightweight, so it’s very easy to move them around and position them and what not. The manufacturing quality of these seems to be quite decent. But I can easily bend these with my hands, and feel pretty certain that I might be able to actually break them in half if I really gave it all. And the way they’ll be used, well, they’re not gonna be under that kind of strain. But I still feel like these could be stronger and more rigid and just a little heavier. But that’s just my opinion of course. Maybe it’s not necessary.But overall, this is a little lightweight of a product, and I was somewhat disappointed.

This is exactly what i was looking for, its lightweight, sturdy, and will protect my mattress from sinking, true to size. Ill buy another one for my other bed. recommended
