The Food Garbage Disposal has been a solid addition to my kitchen. It grinds food waste quickly and efficiently. Installation was straightforward and took about 30 minutes- mostly from me searching for a couple tools I needed to tighten it properly.I’ve noticed it struggles a bit with tougher scraps like chicken bones or too many potato peelings at once. Overall, it’s a reliable product that gets the job done at a great price point, though a bit more power would make it perfect.

It will not work. I had 3 plumbers come and check it and none of them can get it to work had to have it taken out and it needs to be returned. That’s an $80 item that is basically trash for me. It needs to be returned. Amazon needs to take it back and send it back to the company that is selling these products to them. They are nothing but garbage and it is a garbage disposal.

This actually works very well! I wouldn't put anything like super hard into it. But it does work. We did forget to punch out the hole for the dishwasher before we ran the washer, so it didn't drain at all. But once we saw that and punched out the hole, even the dishwasher is running fine with it.This disposal grinds up the normal food items, and keeps the dishwasher running, even when there are a few chunks of food left on the dishes.I was actually surprised at how quiet this disposal is. Well, it is still loud-ISH because it is a disposal. But it is quieter than the one in my previous apartment. I would say it is quiet enough that it may not wake a baby when they are sleeping.The photos also do not show it, but it does come with the rubber flaps that go inside the drain. I figured it did, but none of the photos show it, so I thought I would mention it. And it does come with the little drain cover as well.This disposal was very easy to install as well. The only issue is if you don't already have the electrical set up for it. But the disposal itself is easy.

This disposer is somewhat unique in its design and is well made with attention to detail. Overall I give it 5 stars for general evaluation.Unlike others, the dishwasher discharge hose connection is optional in this disposer. The barb fitting can be screwed on to connect to dishwasher if needed, otherwise can be neglected. It also has a unique mounting design compared with traditional design. The drain kit connects to the disposer by a rubber gasket kit, which is forced into position and tightened with metal collar. So you don't need the standard Z wrench to tighten the connection.One drawback of this design is the replacement of the splash guard, which is integrated into the rubber connection band. You can't replace it unless you replace the band as well.The product description looks like you would receive the air switch with this unit. As is not the case. There's no air switch in the package. I would definitely take a star if the inclusion of the air switch is reflected in price. At the same of review, it's priced at $70, potentially not including the air switch.
