Have been waiting to try one of these. It works pretty good and the idea of having the 3 zones was a big plus for this one.During get togethers outside we have and have tried several ways to keep things warm. Most are bulky and difficult to open and use.We use this with longer serving trays we have and for things that need to keep moist we put a wire rack at the bottom of the dish with water. This keeps the water hot and the food warm and moist. For crispy stuff we just use the dish one the pad without water. What we did not like so much and expected it to be more like a conventional silicon heating pad is the layers are not molded together. The top surface is not bonded so the whole thing kind of puffs up. Once the pans on holding it down it is not a problem but think it would not look so odd and clean easier.

This warming mat is the largest I've seen and takes a little bit longer to warm up than others I've used. It rolls up very nicely for storage without any wrinkling of the material. The lock feature is heavily utilized and can seem a bit troubling at first. After a certain time it automatically locks to keep kids from cranking it up too high. And that is important as the highest temperature could cause injury just like any stovetop. Once you get used to the lock function, it operates in a nice and simplistic way. Conveniently rolls up nicely with a strap to hold in place. Plus has a nice bag for storage if that is preferable. Comes at a very reasonable price.

One of the biggest selling features, for me, is the individual heat zones. To be able to customize each dish is important. Plus, when you have a small kitchen, it is really helpful to have extra places to put the dishes (food being prepared) since there aren't always enough burners on the stove. And if you have a meal that is best served in a buffet format, this is good, too!! There are a lot of ways to benefit from this device along with storing it out of the way because the last thing I need is more devices cluttering up my counter tops. That said, this simple heating mat solves a lot of issues at a reasonable price point. It would probably make an excellent gift as well.

Main purpose of this is that I do BBQs a lot. This is perfect for serving brisket/ribs out of a hotel pan or other large platter.Pros:* Size is great for service on hotel pans.* After a few min of it being on, there's an autolock functionality that kicks in. To unlock it, you have to hold the unlock button first. That means people won't accidentally change the settings.* Temps are 140, 176, and 212 F.* The cord isn't some weird proprietary plug, and it doesn't use a power brick. It's a standard 120v cable going to the panel. If I'm really nitpicking for cons, it sometimes doesn't unroll completely flat on its own, but once you put stuff on it, then it's fine. Didn't deduct a star because we put a stone on it for pizza, and a hotel pan for BBQ.

Worked just as advertised... keeps dishes warm and hot at different temepratures and zones as needed. I like that you can select the temperatures. It's easy to clean up afterwards from the drips when we were filling our plates. And I like that it rolls up so I can easily store it. I also just finished using it to speed up the rise of my bread dough. Very easy to use. My great aunt says she wants one now after years of trying to keep multiple dishes warm during holiday gatherings.

This warming tray mat is perfect for our potlucks at work. The option of several different heat setting for each zone is a bonus. It does not unroll flat, but after you put items on it it flattens out a bit and stays down. I does roll up well, so it is easy to transport. The separate heat settings for each zone is really nice. Very easy to clean up, by wiping it.

This is the second warming mat I ordered, but the first with individual zones, which is extremely useful! The first still works great, but only lets you select one temperature, and while that is nice, it limits your options.Using it is very easy, select the zone, select the temperature, done. The edge of the zones do slightly extend but not enough to affect food in an adjacent zone. When you’re done, you can wipe it off with a damp cloth, a little soap and dry. After it’s dried, roll it up and close it with the included strap (another little thing my other lay does not have), and store it back in its sleeve. That’s it.For the price, everyone should give this one.
