My experience with this is like buying the cheapest tool for a job.Its light weight, slides around, and is somewhat hard to control.You'll want to attach it to something heavy.The cords are a bit short also.But it works, and works well.You may have some odd experiences depending on what you use it with, as some tools don't power up on a constant curve.But it will tell you if you need a better one or a different solution

I used this connected to my dremel flex shaft. It’s great and works exactly as advertised. Enables me to control the dremel speed as I work.

Just don’t.. pay more and get something better.. basically an on/off switch with no speed throttling

I’m an artist, I use my rotary tool with flex shaft almost daily. I got aggravated switching it on and off. So I did a little research and discovered the on and off foot peddle. Found this guy on Amazon, ordered it, and I don’t know how I ever did without it. Plugged my rotary tool in and have yet to unplug it. Makes working so much easier!!! Especially when doing fiddly, detailed work. I have my rotary tool hanging up from a table mounted arm, plugged into this peddle— ABSOLUTELY the perfect set up!!!

My Rotary tool sells w/ a variable speed slider and is the top tool of rotary… but every one I have had has had the variable speed blues. This one from way way back. Best thing was a metal sewing machine foot pedal early 1960’s style… worked for 20 years and finally I wore it out after rebuilding it numerous times. I am totally jazzed about this one, but it does have a very light weight to it and could be damaged by an off angle errant foot. Excellent function.
