This is decent. I can see myself using it with my nephew. It can take a few good hits. More concerned about the straps not super comfortable to hold. I also can see them ripping off over time we have use. For the price point it’s great. The padding is better than I expected.

The blocking pad works as described. It has strong and durable handles and the padding is good. The pads were compressed in shipping and returned to shape fairly well, but not completely. Therefore, the cushions are not tight in the case (I left it out for three days, hoping it would completely decompress), but that does not seem to affect the usefulness or design. Overall, it works well and I highly recommend it.
