The item looks good and was well packaged. But it is a little flimsy from others I have seen.

This was the second purchase from this company and I have to say both purchases were fast delivery and great products. This installation took me just over an hour and had the help of my wife for about 10 minutes. I did find their instructions good but after starting the installation, as they indicated “start on the left and work to the right”, I changed that method. I strongly recommend you consider the same change because starting on the end the splitter tends to move slightly from the holes and you could end up with the last end being slightly off (as I found). I also did a dry fit and marked which holes matched OEM with green painters tape because once you start installation you can’t be sure which holes are which (there are many extra holes for the new screws you have to add at the end). By starting at one end (right) and just setting the screw in to hold with someone at the other end holding it up so as not to put stress on the part. Then move to the other end (left) and set that screw in while your helper holds the center. Next set a screw in one of the center holes (do not tighten any of these till the very end). From there I just went about installing the remaining OEM screws. Only once all these were in I then started tightening them from center out to either side and it all lined up nicely. In my pictures you might see I had my car on wheel sets for winter storage. This height was enough to install this part with use of an impact, which I used very carefully noting the torque as you could strip these screws. The over all loss of ground clearance on my stingray was 2”, giving me a final 6” clearance on the front. The color matched original and fit was great. I highly recommend this company and the product.

When it was delivered, it was packed exceptionally well. As I have ordered from ACS Composite in the past, who pack terribly but have an excellent quality reputation, the packaging misled me into thinking the splitter would be high quality. Due to this, I placed it in my garage while I waited for other parts to come in as I had plans to having my mechanic install a few different things all at once. While waiting on other parts, the 30 day return timeframe expired. Once all the parts came in, I opened this splitter and immediately noticed how cheap the material was...IT IS VERY FLIMSY. I took all the parts to my mechanic and later that day I get a call from them telling me there were two hairline cracks in the splitter. I've used the mechanic for years for all my corvettes and they are about as honest as they come. They had to put epoxy on the hairline cracks in order to install it and told me I'd be lucky if I get a full year out of the splitter before it cracks from normal rocks hitting it during normal driving. HERE'S THE KICKER I didn't buy from ACS this time because last time their splitter came horribly packed (which could have also been partly due to FED EX's handling) however due to ACS's very high quality, the splitter was in excellent condition and has lasted to this day with no issued (4 years.) This company packs very well BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO DUE TO THEIR LOW QUALITY PRODUCT. I would not buy from them again. Spend the extra $300-$400 and get one that will last the car's lifetime.

I researched alot of websites for C7 front splitter. This one in the carbon flash metallic was the best price, talking a couple hundred less than other sites. Part came in excellent packaging, which once removed i went over in detail with no visible scratches or defects. Part installed easily by myself using only existing hardware from car, all pre-drilled holes aligned exactly with the car except for the outer two holes, but with just a little force and finesse the bolts did fit with no further drilling needed. Part comes with additional self tapping screws (10) to drill into front bumper, but thus far, i am having no issues with just using the existing car bolts and then 3M tape. If your plan is to drive the car at speeds excess the speed limit on track for example, i would recommend to not skip the additional fastener step

Very doable enhancement for your C7. Installed on both my and my uncles Z06s and it looks fantastic. Product comes with screws, however I recommend getting the OEM rivets from your local chevy dealer in the auto parts section. The ones you remove from the other splitter are not reusable. Takes 1-2 hours for install

I'm happy with this splitter. This is my 2nd one as my first one became victim to a large dip in the road. OEM prices are insane, these prices are better, but still very expensive in my honest opinion. I have no problems with fitment or look of the product. Both are great in my opinion.

‘16 C7 Chevy Corvette Stingray Z51; great product. Just installed it. Carbon flash color matched perfectly to the rest of the car. All holes matched perfectly, some holes were marked but not totally drilled (not big deal). Instructions provided, screws provided to secure bumper lid( used a small drill bit to make small holes and guide these screws). Will provide update in a couple of months.

Great product, fast shipping, paint quality was good, only bad thing is the holes don’t match up so you have to drill some of your own but small price to pay for the price
