Don’t waste your money. This manufacturer is incapable of drilling the removal tool to fit over the shaft; Yet the installation tool and seal fits 🙄 Maybe there’s something else I don’t know but I do know my th350 is a 79 model year with the original shifter.

Didn't fit. Did not fit, the hole was to small. Had to enlarge the hole to be able to slide it over the shaft.

This tool is supposed to work on a GM Turbo 400 transmission. It is supposed to fit over the shift shaft to remove the seal. It was slightly too small. The shaft is 1/2”’in diameter. I tried a 1/2” drill bit and it wouldn’t fit either.

Pulling tool wouldn’t fit over shaft, had to enlarge the hole but it would never bite into the seal. Since I tried to fix the tool, I can’t return it.

The end of the tool with the external thread had burrs in the ID. Would not fit over the shifter shaft without first grinding the burrs out. After doing that it worked as described.

This tool required modification to fit on the shift shaft because it was too tight. We did this by machining out the inside so it would fit on the shift shaft, then it worked pretty slick. If you don't have the means to modify the tool, don't buy it.

As others have said, the inside diameter is too small to fit over the shift shaft. Both the removal tool and install tool were too tight. Had to drill out the i.d. of the removal tool and just used a thin wall socket to install.Removal tool and installer would have been 5 stars if they were correctly sized.
