I have purchased and tried out 10 different sets of tank pads, ranging from OEM to aftermarket to third-party sellers, in search of a set that would stay on my bike. However, none of the pads seem to have a strong enough adhesive to hold onto my bike for more than two weeks. I take good care of my bike, keeping it clean, covered, and safe in the garage, so environmental stress isn't the issue. We have tried everything from removing the wax to using alcohol and denatured alcohol to prep the surface, but nothing seems to work. While I like the latest set I've tried, it also won't stay on, and I cannot give it a high rating. I may have to wait until new upgrades come out next year before finding a solution.
