The new screen works well and restored the function of my laptop. HP did not make ot easy to install, however. The screen inside is mounted with double stick tape.

So making sure that everything was a match from the model number, making sure that this was a touchscreen and it was a 40 pin, it took me approximately 45 mins because the adhesive tape on the sides weren’t really accessible and had to work at it. Luckily the old screen could use a few extra cracks so I wasn’t worried about that but was worried about flexing the outside plastic cosmetic cover. I believe you get what you pay for so with the range of screen replacement prices I picked the one in the middle. The colors are outstanding. Honestly it’s as bright as the original. One thing I did not like was the fact it didn’t come with mounting adhesive for the installment so technically it’s a floating replacement screen. Although after reinstalling the bezel there’s no indication that it’s not bonded to the inset frame meaning there’s no movement nor vibration of the screen. The touchscreen is very responsive, just as fast as the original. So let this be the first review from someone who went out on a limb, made a purchase and saw that this is legit and will tell anyone that it’s a perfect replacement for the HP laptop model 15-dy2073dx. Would buy again and refer it to anyone!
