I bought the iPad screen for my iPad that I have replaced a few times.it was easy to replace but it started ghost typing and locked the iPad .So no I don’t recommend buying this product and now got to figure out how to unlock after I buy another screen.

The first screen then sent didn’t work so I got a replacement and now it’s not working the greatest and the home button which come preinstalled isn’t holding up it’s falling in to the side

Having kids that I give an iPad to as a lazy parent at times means I will have broken screens. I have replaced probably 8 total iPad screens between my own or family members. This screen was just as good as any other I've replaced. All of these replacement screens don't have great adhesive so I add my own to supplement but this screen does have it to begin with. If you are at all handy with tools or can follow directions from Youtube you can definitely handle this repair on your own. Just remember to remove all protective films before installing, test the screen before putting everything back together, and if you remove your old home button to retain the finger print recognition, you will need to glue it and set it before finishing the repair. Those have been my simple mistakes that has cost me time and taught me lessons. If you don't use or care about the finger print recognition, this home button will still function as normal otherwise and no need to add anything extra. Tools in this kit are sufficient to complete the job and a nice addition for how inexpensive this is.

As with other posters the adhesive is useless. Seems for a few cents more they could provide a small "application size" tube of an adhesive similar to Relife CP-0002. The video they post shows a different configuration for the digitizer cable connector. That connector has to be folded back and adhered to the edge of the digitizer. The doble sided tape does not stick. The home button cable is longer than the OEM cable and will require some finesse to route it so it doesn't get pinched.

This is a nice quality screen for the price. Easy installation once you are able to watch the YouTube tutorial on how to do it. Comes with Vague instructions but overall a good product.
