Not having much luck with these... three sets I've purchased at this point and every one of them is even looser than the original hood latches I was looking to replace. Very much regret removing our old ones now as these only made our hood shake more and after a cross-country trip dealing with that, we now have our hood bungeed down until we can buy yet another set. So sadly these did not work for us and only made it worse.

Installed easily and did not require any modification on my 2008 JK. It looks like it is brand new and I was happy with it initially. Once I took my jeep on a drive on oiled/tarred roads the hood looked like a trampoline at a cheerleader camp. It bounced continuously and was a bit distracting. I removed it 3 days later and installed a solid metal one instead that does not bounce.The bungee strap is much less tight as the original that was put on at the factory in 2007. It looks good but failed to hold down the hood as expected. If you are okay with hood bounce but new look buy it. If you want good looks and no bounce buy the metal one.
