I received this late last October, and was really happy with it at first. It was fairly simple to install, and worked great until May when the display cable cracked, rendering it pretty much useless. Granted that's definitely a design flaw from Apple, I still would expect the product to last longer than 6-7 months, so definitely disappointed. Even though it was past the 90 day warranty, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the seller if they'd be willing to replace the item, but that was a no go.If you do choose to purchase this, just be aware of that weak display cable and see if there's some way to reinforce it during the installation. It's integrated into the display unlike older Mac models, so it unfortunately can't just be swapped out easily. Changing it involves soldering and things much beyond my DIY ability, so I'm on to replace once again at my own expense. Lesson learned the hard way.Poor quality product, not the best customer service.

The screen lasted almost a year, but recently got lines in it & eventually stopped working all together. Would not purchase again.

Everything looked great, fit great, had no issues installing it. It just didn’t work. Computer just went into a boot loop, couldn’t even get an external display to work. Took it out and put the old broken screen back in and the computer worked fine again. Reinstalled the new one another time just to be certain I hadn’t missed something the first time, but same result.

Screen worked as a replacement for 6 months before becoming unusable. Followed approved installation procedure step by step with all the correct tools. After installation the screen worked, but all keyboard illumination did not. 6 months in, it appears the flexible cable within the hinge area has failed leading to the dead screen area. Very disappointed in this product. Cannot recommend

Screen was securely packaged in a styrofoam box which is criticxal for such a fragile part. Install went smoothly and screen works great. What else can I say.

Es una estafa completamente, lo compré hace 5 meses aproximadamente y hace 1 mes se puso estas lineas desde abajo, la iluminación del teclado no funciona, espero que no se ponga peor. NO LA COMPREN POR FAVOR.

I purchased this after my son broke the display on his laptop. The company was going to charge us $600 to replace. I was able to do this fairly easily and much cheaper. It has the logo on it as well. Great price

The install was hard but doable with 1 YouTube video and a couple of hours. Make sure you have a good kit with all of your torque screwdriver bits before starting! After finishing up, I realized the backlight on the keyboard was off. I checked the settings and the options are gone for it. Then I noticed the ambient light sensor for the brightnesswasn't working.. checked the settings and they were also gone. I'm assuming these are cheap and missing the parts for them so if you need these two things to work, do some research on a better quality screen to purchase.

Item received abit late, packing condition was okay.After replace the new screen , the first power up , half of the screen showed some lines on it, power off and on again, the lines was gone , just worry it might not last long…Update on the screen after almost more than a week, seem so far okay , hope it really last longer..

I had to replace a screen for someone who decided not to get Apple Care plus. She cracked the screen and of course Apple was going to charge her nearly half the price of the 2020 Macbook Air to do the repair. If you are going to buy a fragile product from Apple. Just get the AppleCare plan. That being said, this screen fit like a charm. It can be installed in a hour or less.

I bought this item for a customer, I did not realize I got grey not silver when ordering so that was my mishap.However, when it did come in I was pleased to see that it was great quality and did not feel too much different from OEM parts.I do want to point out for those that are quite picky that the "Macbook Air" logo written on the bottom of the bezel is not as high quality as something you would expect from OEM. You are saving money, however it does the job
