If it is supposed to have a shoulder strap as an option, why are there no tabs or D rings on either side to attach the strap? All you can do is attach it to the drawstring which seems like a PIA. Are you supposed to use the belt loop for the cross body? If so why are there clips like there are? Confusing.Why is there a big loop tab on one side? Its too big to clip the strap too, too small to feed the strap through, too big for a farro rod, to small for larger tool handle what is this for?Why is there a tab at the top? Its pointing the wrong way to hang the bag up somewhere. Its small enough to clip the strap too but not to feed it, but why would you clip one side here. What is this for?Other than that it is fine. Decent canvas , stitching seems alright. Not real leather but it seems servacable. The snaps work well. The strap makes an impromptu belt to hood the thing if you want, or you can cross body it. Also if you fold up the strap you can store it in the leather wrap that keeps it all closed so its not being requred to be used or just left behind, I was worried about that. The snaps on the belt loop it's self is a nice feature.

Bought as a gift and my sister-in-law loves it for rock hunting. Seems to be solid quality and has been holding up ok with quasi-frequent use the last three months

This is a good idea and the bag is fine and works well. However, it was thicker than I expected when folded up to be worn on my Carhartt waist pouch's belt. I decided to just fold up a bag and store it in the waist pouch.

I got this for my daughter as she loves hiking and foraging. She opened it up and it's a good quality. She had no trouble re-folding the bag into it's small pouch. She was very happy!
