Well, first I waited an extra 4 days to receive my electrode sticks, apparently they were delivered to wrong address even though Amazon had the correct one on file. Once I received them, they were the wrong item I needed. The company sent me 1/8" instead of the 3/32" I needed for my project. Forney 31101 E6011 Welding Rod, 3/32-Inch, 1-Pound...I decided not to return them because in the near future I will probably need them for something. Now my project is on hold, can't use my new stick welder I purchased from Amazon. Wait begins. Quality is a good brand, value for the money if they were the correct ones.

I tend to stick weld on things that are old and/or rusty. I mig when it's new and clean and I tig when I need to. It's almost fun to get out the stick welder for the old heavy duty things and these rods preformed perfectly on the winch mount to the frame of my old cj7. You couldn't ask for a more demanding set of circumstances and I couldn't have gotten a better outcome. Deep penetration and not one hiccup over even the worst parts of the steel. Some days are just this good.

I am an occasional, amateur welder and these seem to work just fiine for me. They strike easy and weld consistently. I am very happy with the results and the costs.

Got me a new 110 wielder that takes rods and wire. Never really used rods before and did some checking on the numbers and this is where it led. Small package and a great price to learn with. I can buy more as need. I’m self taught for home use. These are great learning tools, learning is a process and this is a cool thing. I highly recommend these for starting and pros alike

I been piling metal for years now. Most times it’s a quick fix on something and I’m done. It’s usually pretty ugly but functional. I get to welding a bigger project about once a year. After a couple hours, I kinda get my mojo back and the welding looks better. But again, I’m not a great welderWith this rod, and I’m using a $135 Hitbox 110/220v welder , on 110v, that I bought here. This rod went down like butter! Nice welds right out of the gate. I must have gotten the welder settings right as well. But it went down clean without my usual “stacking turds” look! I will definitely be buying this rod again for my home projects…and work projects, if they let me weld at work!

I am super new at welding and these are my first rods purchased. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and these were recommended for beginners as easy to use and store.They work great and spark immediately as soon as one touches the steel. Never have to tap it more than once. Because I have never tried any other rod and am new at this, then this review may not mean a lot to experienced welders.
