Tried to use for stained glass copper foil soldering. It does not work. The lead solder does not flow with this flux.

Well, it works, thats the plus side.In my opinion its not real good for small stuff, like race/freestyle drone building. The reason why is because of the consistency of the flux. It's a little bit like jello or something (a little chunky, even if you stir it some). Which makes it hard to apply just a little bit. not real gooey, more like jello.A little hard to apply properly for what i need. probably not the application intended. not manufacturers fault.

Under no circumstance does it mention it isn't for Electrical Circuit soldering. Should mention it besides simply on the box.

I primarily needed to tin lots of wires, and have been using liquid flux pen for this which was hard to use with wires. This flux is perfect for the task. Just dip wires into it and they happy suck solder from soldering iron without any issues.

I did not find a large selection of flux available on Amazon, so I bought this one, and I have to say it works great. I have no issues with the solder, I am using it with a Hakko 888 soldering station, and for my basic soldering needs it works great. The solder has a red die of some sort, and when it gets on my board I solder on, it does stain slightly, but I always solder with this board down to protect the counter top I am soldering on so no issues there, just keep that in mind that if you need to protect the surface of your work station cover it or clean up any messes immediately.
