Those of us who grew up with these wonderful drinking birds are still fascinated with the way they work.. BUT my Grandchildren watched with total awe as the little bird moved smoothly just like magic. Bring a little bit of wonder into your homes with the Famous Lucky Magic Drinking Bird. We were able to gie all the children a little bird to take home with the handy 5 pack. I was even able to keep one for ourselves. Will buy more for other gifts.

I grew up with these all around me in Germany. They always brought me such joy. I give them to all the kids. They love them too. Great opportunity for a science lesson that is fun.

The Famous Lucky Drinking Bird is what I remember to be "Drinking Albert" (for those of us who are Baby Boomers). I ordered a package for several elementary students as novelty gifts. They were as fascinated as I was when I was that age. They all worked fine. They are not as sturdy as I remember (thinner gauge glass and plastic) but were still marvelous.
